Cookie management

With regard to the GDPR directive, and the measure containing Simplified procedures for information and consent concerning the use of cookies - 8 May 2014 (Published in Italian Official Journal no. 126 of 3 June 2014), users may decide how to manage cookies by modifying their browser settings (the procedure may vary slightly depending on the operating system used).

Google Chrome

1. Run the Chrome Browser;
2. Click the menu in the browser toolbar next to the “url” input field;
3. Select Settings;
4. Click Show Advanced Settings;
5. In the “Privacy” section, click the Contents settings button;
6. The following cookie settings can be modified in the "Cookies" section:

• Agree to the local saving of data;
• Modify local data only until the browser is shut down;
• Prevent sites from setting cookies;
• Block third-party cookies and website data;
• Manage exceptions for some websites;
• Erase one or all cookies.

Mozilla Firefox

1. Run the Mozilla Firefox Browser;
2. Click the menu in the browser toolbar next to the “url” input field
3. Select Options;
4. Select the Privacy panel;
5. Click Show Advanced Settings;
6. In the “Privacy” section, click the Contents settings button;
7. The following cookie settings can be modified in the "Tracking" section:

• Ask sites not to perform any tracking;
• Tell sites you are willing to be tracked;
• Do not state a preference with regard to personal data tracking;

8. In the "Chronology" section you can:

• Enable “Use customised settings” to agree to third-party cookies (always, from the most visited sites or never) and to store them for a specific time (until they expire, until Firefox is shut down, or as specified every time);
• Erase individual saved cookies.

Internet Explorer

1. Run the Internet Explorer Browser;
2. Click the Tools button and choose Internet Options;
3. Click the Privacy  tab, and in the Settings section, modify the scroll device depending on the action required with regard to cookies:

• Block all cookies;
• Agree to all cookies;
• Select the sites from which cookies will be accepted: move the cursor to a middle position so that it does not block or agree to all cookies, then press Sites, enter a website in the Website Address box and then press Block or Agree.

Safari

1. Run the Safari Browser;
2. Click Safari, select Preferences and click Privacy;
3. In the Block Cookies section, specify how Safari is to accept cookies from websites;
4. To view the sites that have stored the cookies, click Details.

Safari on iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch

1. Run the Safari Browser;
2. Touch Settings and then Safari.
3. Touch Block Cookies and choose from the various options: “Never”, “Third-party and advertiser” or “Always”;
4. To erase all cookies stored by Safari, touch Settings, then Safari and finally Clear Cookies and data;

Opera

1. Run the Opera Browser;
2. Click Preferences, then Advanced and finally Cookies;
3. Select one of the following options:

• Agree to all cookies;
• Only agree to cookies from the site you are visiting; third-party cookies and those sent by a domain other than the one you are visiting will be rejected;
• Never agree to cookies: no cookies will ever be saved.
