BORN GIMATIC SUBSIDIARY IN ROMANIA

Gimatic Srl, is glad to announce the opening of
a new branch in Rumania. It is located in Bucarest and the subsidiary
will take care of the management of the Rumanian market and it will
give to the clients hi tech solutions in the matter of robotic hands
(E.O.A.T), which are instruments of manipulation, pneumatic and
electrical components. The subsidiary, named Gimatic Sistemi, in
addition to a consolidated and widespread sales network that covers all
the world. The Gimatic Group, which keeps growing, is already present
in every continent, with 19 branches overall, in order to be always
near the final client and to give them a complete service, from the
project to the assembly, from the installation to the support.

CONTACTLESS RECOGNITION AND
DATA TRANSMISSION INTERFACE: RFID

Our R&D department is constantly at work to provide to the clients cutting edge solutions: Industry 4.0 products.
Identification module RFID is the perfect example. This incredible
device, used together with End Of Arm Toolings (E.O.A.T.) not only
identifies the required tool uniquely and infallibly, but also
transfers a set of data to the user or directly to the robot.
The process monitoring information, transmitted on a web-service,
concerns the production batch, parts list, procurement times and number
of cycles performedw for the predictive maintanance; in this case the
device emits a warning signal when the tool reaches the preset number
of cycles, avoiding unexpected situations which can compromise the
working process.
The system, connected to the tool changer, is composed by an RFID
reader and a memory tag. It allows to tell apart up to 255 different
instruments thanks to a binary coding by means of 8 digital outputs 24
Vdc.
It is possible to communicate with RFID and so with the E.O.A.T. using
a smartphone: Gimatic, in fact, has developed an app, downloadable for
free, which allows to control all the data of the tool quickly,
intuitively and without the necessity of wires. |
